Johannes Moenius is an Economist who specializes in automation and jobs as well as geographical economics. He is a professor of global business at the University of Redlands School of Business, where he holds the William R. and S. Sue Johnson Endowed Chair of Spatial Economic Analysis and Regional Planning. He is also the founding director of the Institute of Spatial Economic Analysis (http://www.iseapublish.com). Before joining the Redlands faculty in 2005, he taught at the Kellogg School of Management and was a visiting scholar at the University of Tokyo. He studied Management Science at Bamberg University and Economics at the Technical University in Dresden, Queen’s University, Canada and the University of California, San Diego, where he received his Ph.D. He has presented his work in more than 200 talks at universities, conferences, and government institutions.
