The GLOBAL ENERGY TRANSITION (GET) Awards of Excellence 2024

The program recognizes domestic and international corporations and organizations whose level of Socio-Economic responsibility effort in specific areas have helped make a difference in their vertical and community by providing employment opportunities, endorsement, advocacy, and support to GET’s candidates and others impacted by the energy transition.

GET Award Qualifications:

To participate in the GET’S awards of Excellence Program, corporations or organizations must meet the following standards:

The Corporation must be an established corporation or organization with more than 5 years of operations.

The corporation or organization has appointed a member liaison to interface with GLOBAL ENERGY TRANSITION.

Be an active member of GET’s Social Responsibility Program.

The corporation or organization must have hired and maintained more than 10 transitioning Oil & Gas / Chemicals or Energy transitioning individuals between January 2021 and July 1, 2024.

The corporation or organization has hosted or participated in one or more than one GET events or meeting per year.

The corporation or organization has made contributions to GET’s philanthropic activities.

The corporation and organization partners with GET to promote education programs, upskilling, reskilling, via micro-credentials and rapid training education programs that have resulted in preparing, re-educating and hiring individuals in transition.

The corporation or organization has mentored and provided transition assistance, apprenticeships, and coaching to those in transition.

All submissions are due until wednesday Oct 23, 2024 at midnight. Awards will be presented on Friday, November 1, 2024, at the GET’s Award of Excellence Ceremony.

As an attendee, you are expected to abide by the guidelines set above. At GET’s discretion, those deemed in violation will be removed from virtual or physical venues immediately without a refund and barred from future GET events. If you experience or witness a Code of Conduct violation, report it to the GET Board of Directors at directors@getdecarb.org. We base GLOBAL ENERGY TRANSITION’s (GET) Code of Conduct on the principles of inclusion, equality, diversity, and respect. These guidelines are necessary to ensure that everyone can safely enjoy GET’s events. By purchasing a ticket to, working for, vending at, or sponsoring any GET event, conference, and conference-related social event, you agree to the policies set forth above.
