BOARD OF DIRECTORS
David Jordan is a compassionate servant leader! He is a decorated combat veteran with 25 years in the
U.S. Air Force Security Forces. David has served as: Mayor Pro-Tem/City Councilman, of Leon Valley
Texas and has been appointed to numerous Non-Profit Boards, Such as South Alamo Regional Alliance
for the Homeless (SARA), and Vice Chairman For Voices For Children Of San Antonio. Additionally, David
has 7 years’ experience in City Management. As City administrator of Dilley Texas, he witnessed how the
demise of the oil and gas industry negatively impacted local communities, through a decrease in the
population, reduced sales and property tax collections in the annual budget and vacant hotels. David
holds a bachelor’s degree in social psychology from Parkville, Missouri and an associate degree in
criminal justice and police science, from the Community College of the Air Force. David loves true crime
stories and spending time with family.

GLOBAL ENERGY TRANSITION (GET) will not tolerate any type of harassment of attendees, including the following but not limited to: inappropriate physical or virtual contact, unwelcome sexual attention, display of sexual images in public or virtual spaces, deliberate verbal or physical intimidation, sustained disruption of talks or other events, advocating for or encouraging any of the above behaviors, verbal, or physical abuse. Because of the following but not limited to: religion, race, ethnicity, gender, sexual orientation, disability, physical appearance, body size, or age. As an attendee, you are expected to abide by the guidelines set above. At GET’s discretion, those deemed in violation will be removed from virtual or physical venues immediately without a refund and barred from future GET events. If you experience or witness a Code of Conduct violation, report it to the GET Board of Directors at directors@getdecarb.org. We base GLOBAL ENERGY TRANSITION’s (GET) Code of Conduct on the principles of inclusion, equality, diversity, and respect. These guidelines are necessary to ensure that everyone can safely enjoy GET’s events.
