Upon completing his bachelor’s in economics from the University of Texas at San Antonio, Jesse Johnson moved to Washington, DC to begin working for the Department of Labor’s Office of Trade Adjustment Assistance, which is a program designed to assist workers who’ve been impacted by trade to be reemployed in the job market. In2015, Jesse was able to transition his job back to Texas while also moving into policy. In 2018, he achieved his “Energy” MBA from the University of Houston. Jesse continues his work as a Senior Policy Analyst while also being the “Energy Czar” of his office."

GLOBAL ENERGY TRANSITION (GET) will not tolerate any type of harassment of attendees, including the following but not limited to: inappropriate physical or virtual contact, unwelcome sexual attention, display of sexual images in public or virtual spaces, deliberate verbal or physical intimidation, sustained disruption of talks or other events, advocating for or encouraging any of the above behaviors, verbal, or physical abuse. Because of the following but not limited to: religion, race, ethnicity, gender, sexual orientation, disability, physical appearance, body size, or age. As an attendee, you are expected to abide by the guidelines set above. At GET’s discretion, those deemed in violation will be removed from virtual or physical venues immediately without a refund and barred from future GET events.
