BOARD OF DIRECTORS
Ileana is the CEO and founder of the consulting firm, Colibri Business Development LLC, focused on helping public and private sector energy entities find solutions to ensure their projects maximize local economic development by being a local content subject matter expert who provides advice on local policies and regulations. Before establishing her firm, Ileana had a 24-year career with ExxonMobil.
Ileana has worked with WEConnect International to promote and support the inclusion of women-owned businesses in the area of the global supply chain.
Ileana has a BA in Languages from the Universidad Metropolitana (Caracas, Venezuela), an MBA in International Development from Thunderbird School of Global Management (Arizona, USA), and holds certifications in leading economic growth (LEG) and Implementing Public Policy from Harvard Kennedy School of Government.
Ileana was born and raised in Venezuela, where she lived for 27 years, before moving to the United States in 2003. She currently lives in The Woodlands, TX with her husband, two daughters (17 and 15), and two dogs.

GLOBAL ENERGY TRANSITION (GET) will not tolerate any type of harassment of attendees, including the following but not limited to: inappropriate physical or virtual contact, unwelcome sexual attention, display of sexual images in public or virtual spaces, deliberate verbal or physical intimidation, sustained disruption of talks or other events, advocating for or encouraging any of the above behaviors, verbal, or physical abuse. Because of the following but not limited to: religion, race, ethnicity, gender, sexual orientation, disability, physical appearance, body size, or age. As an attendee, you are expected to abide by the guidelines set above. At GET’s discretion, those deemed in violation will be removed from virtual or physical venues immediately without a refund and barred from future GET events. If you experience or witness a Code of Conduct violation, report it to the GET Board of Directors at directors@getdecarb.org. We base GLOBAL ENERGY TRANSITION’s (GET) Code of Conduct on the principles of inclusion, equality, diversity, and respect.
