Betina Brandon is Director of Workforce Development and Talent Pipelines with Entergy
and leads a team responsible for initiatives in Mississippi, Arkansas, Louisiana, and
Texas. In this role, she provides strategic direction and champions the development of
best practices, programs, and initiatives that foster workforce development, diversity,
and an inclusive work environment.
She was recently recognized as one of Mississippi’s Top Leading Businesswomen for
2022. She was also recognized by Alcorn State University as a notable alumna in honor
of Women’s History Month and was recipient of the B.E.S.T. (Bringing Excellence and
Service Together) Award through the JPS-Tougaloo Early College High School Program
partnership. She was awarded the Premier Leadership Award with Entergy in 2020 and
selected as one of Mississippi’s Most Influential African Americans of 2019.
Betina serves on numerous boards and councils including the College of Engineering
Student Advisory Board with Southern University, Dean’s Leadership Advisory Board
and Advanced Technology Industry Advisory Board of Alcorn State University,
Vicksburg-Warren Engagement Council, City of Jackson Workforce Leadership Academy
Advisory Board, and New Hope Christian School Board.
