Mark Fedkin is an Associate Teaching Professor and a lead faculty for the Renewable Energy and Sustainability Systems online Master’s program and for the Energy and Sustainability Policy online Bachelor’s program at Penn State University. His professional interests are in the areas of renewable energy and environmental sustainability. After finishing his doctorate degree in Geo-Environmental Engineering, Fedkin worked for the Earth and Mineral Sciences Energy Institute (Penn State) for fifteen years, doing research on electrochemical technologies and materials for energy conversion. His research has been published in over 60 peer reviewed publications and proceedings. Over the past decade, he has been building educational curriculum, programs, and partnerships to promote sustainability education and workforce training for the energy transition.
