Raquel Costa is the Vice President of People & Organization for EDP Renewables North America (EDPR NA) and a member of the Executive Team for the North America Region. Raquel joined EDPR in 2020 as the Director of Human Resources (HR), and in her position she oversees all aspects of HR Management. She has a successful track record on transformational leadership, intercultural communication, and collaboration, as well as change management. Raquel’s career developed mostly within the energy sector. Her professional and personal experience spans different continents and includes both living and working in Portugal, Angola, France, Brazil, Malaysia, Australia, and the United States. Raquel has an MBA from the International School of Management in Paris and St John’s College in New York, and a Bachelor of Science in Economics from the NOVA School of Business and Economics in Lisbon.

GLOBAL ENERGY TRANSITION (GET) will not tolerate any type of harassment of attendees, including the following but not limited to: inappropriate physical or virtual contact, unwelcome sexual attention, display of sexual images in public or virtual spaces, deliberate verbal or physical intimidation, sustained disruption of talks or other events, advocating for or encouraging any of the above behaviors, verbal, or physical abuse. As an attendee, you are expected to abide by the guidelines set above. At GET’s discretion, those deemed in violation will be removed from virtual or physical venues immediately without a refund and barred from future GET events.
