Dr. Doreen Chin has over 42 years of experience in academia, energy generation, and oil and gas industries, and had been plant operator, researcher, professor, engineer, leader, and entrepreneur. She held a PhD in Mechanical Engineering from University of Houston.
Dr. Chin oil and gas experience ranges from offshore deepwater engineering and project delivery to onshore unconventional production operations. She served as Chair of OTC 2014 Program Committee and OTC Board Member, held various leadership roles in ASME, published over 51 papers and one book and received three Best Paper Awards, and was the recipient of numerous prestigious industrial awards.

GLOBAL ENERGY TRANSITION (GET) will not tolerate any type of harassment of attendees, including the following but not limited to: inappropriate physical or virtual contact, unwelcome sexual attention, display of sexual images in public or virtual spaces, deliberate verbal or physical intimidation, sustained disruption of talks or other events, advocating for or encouraging any of the above behaviors, verbal, or physical abuse. As an attendee, you are expected to abide by the guidelines set above. At GET’s discretion, those deemed in violation will be removed from virtual or physical venues immediately without a refund and barred from future GET events. We base GLOBAL ENERGY TRANSITION’s (GET) Code of Conduct on the principles of inclusion, equality, diversity, and respect.
